The Toronto Christmas Market is a much-loved annual holiday tradition in the city. Held in the Distillery Historic District, it celebrates the sounds, sights and smells of the season in the weeks leading up to the big day. Perfect for families, many great events are held and beautiful gifts are available for purchase.

The Toronto Christmas Market is running from Friday, November 28th until Sunday, December 21st. The Distillery Historic District is open 7 days a week; visit the market between 12 and 9pm, Tuesday through Friday, and from 10am to 9pm on weekends.


The market's main stage is going to be hosting an impressive 180 performances over the course of the month. From carolers and choirs singing Christmas classics to dancers, bands and more, there's something for everyone. The daily schedule includes a Santa's Elves Sing-Along, which is an interactive stage show, as well as a Caroling Gathering. Click here to learn more.

Features and Activities

The Toronto Christmas Market offers a wide range of exciting activities. A 45-foot holiday tree makes quite the impression, and Ontario-grown wreaths, gifts and trees are available for sale. The American Express Warming Lounge offers respite from the cold, as well as complimentary hot chocolate. There is also an “Under the Mistletoe” sculpture, photo contest, stunning lighting, pet photos with Santa, a ferris wheel, a carousel, a life-sized gingerbread house and more.


Many vendors come together for this event, including some of the city and province's most talented crafters and artists. Many international vendors also attend, making this market one of the top in Toronto.
