Toronto gets special treatment when it comes to celebrity visits. For example, you can expect Santa to be making dozens of appearances around the city before his big night. Whether you're a new family, just visiting or looking to fulfill a Toronto holiday tradition, Santa will be in a few places at once throughout the month of December. Check it out:

Santa has set up shop — a vacation home of sorts. Check out him and his little helpers in Trinity Square at Toronto's Eaton Centre. The kids will get a photo taken as well as the chance to play in the Christmas Tree Maze and watch new toys being made. He'll be there every Friday in December from 4pm to 7pm. Make reservations online.

Yorkdale Mall

Until Christmas Eve, Santa invites you to swing by his cozy spot at Yorkdale Mall. Located near the southwest entrance, kids can get their photos with Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas. Keychains and wallet photos allow you to share the experience with loved ones. See photo pricing here. He is around Monday through Saturday, 10:30am to 8:30pm; Sunday from 11am to 6pm and on December 24th from 8:30am to 4pm. Santa also does pet photos and even offers a “Santa Fast Pass” that will allow you to skip the line and save time.

Fairview Mall

Santa is making his rounds and will also be at Fairview Mall until December 24th. Get great deals on your Christmas gifts and then lift your spirits by having a chat with the big red suit that we all know and love. He will be around Monday to Friday, from 11am to 8pm, Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. His special hours on Christmas Eve will be from 10am to 3pm.

Choose the location closest to you and watch the kids' faces light up as they witness jolly Santa Claus at his very best. They can share their secrets, participate in fun Christmas activities and make friends as Santa zooms around the city for during the Toronto holiday season.
