March Break is almost here...what are you going to do with the kids? If you're looking for ideas to keep your little ones entertained, active and happy during their week off from school you've come to the right place. Read on for 4 activities and events that are happening right here in Toronto over the next week.

 

March Break School Holiday Program at Adventure Valley

This March Break, sign your child up for a Choose Your Own Adventure camp at Toronto's wonderful Adventure Valley! Running until March 20th, this camp is open to kids from Grades 1 to 6 and the cost is $375.00 per camper per week. This program allows attendees to devise their own schedule based on their favourite activities. Each day is divided into 5 periods and campers choose one activity per period – everything from cartooning to chess, archery, cooking, crafts, ball hockey, lego, rocketry, dance, robotics and more are offered. Wizard World Fun Park

From March 15th to 22nd, the city's Better Living Centre, located at Exhibition Place, will be hosting an indoor Wizard World Fun Park for kids. Fun for the whole family, there will be more than 25 rides, a toddler zone, an exotic petting zoo, arts, crafts, mascots, daily shows and more. Back for its 12th year, it's a top Toronto March Break destination. It is open from 10am to 6pm Monday through Friday and from 11am to 6pm on weekends. Admission costs $10.00, or $27.00 for unlimited rides. Family passes are available for $66.00, which includes 2 admissions and 2 unlimited ride bracelets, or $98.00, which includes 4 unlimited ride bracelets.

 

Bell Free Weekend: Family Screenings and Activities

The TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto is hosting family movie screenings and activities between March 14th and 20th. Stop by to enjoy films like The Little Mermaid, Dumbo and other Disney classics on the big screen. Movies will be shown in the afternoon and tickets cost $13.00 for adults, $10.50 for seniors and students and $9.00 for children. Combo tickets, which include a film and a visit to digiPlaySpace, cost $15.00 for children and $20.00 for adults. Click here for the schedule.

 

Disney on Ice Presents Frozen

Frozen, Disney's wildly popular animated film, is being brought to life by Disney on Ice! Running from March 18th to 22nd at the Rogers Centre, the show will be hosted by Mickey and Minnie Mouse and feature all of your child's favourite characters, including Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf. There will be amazing special effects, beautiful skating and all the songs they know and love. Premium and regular tickets cost between $100.00 and $28.00 plus fees and group bookings are available.
