The One of a Kind Spring Show and Sale is coming up, Toronto! A popular annual event, it makes the perfect afternoon excursion while you're waiting for the weather to finally warm up. Read on for all of the need-to-know details.
When and where is it?
The event will run from Wednesday, March 25th to Sunday, March 29th, 2015. It is being held at the Direct Energy Centre, which can be found at Toronto's Exhibition Place. It is easy to access by car, TTC and Go Transit.
From Wednesday to Saturday, the show is open from 10am to 9pm. On Sunday, it will run from 10am to 6pm. Late night shopping will take place until 11pm on Thursday.
What is it?
The One of a Kind Spring Show and Sale was founded in 1975. A top Toronto destination for shopping handmade, the event will feature over 450 designers, artisans and creators from all across the country.
Artisan categories include body care, ceramics, home decor, leather, metal, jewellery, fashion, photography, original art, paper products, stained glass, wood, weaving and much more. The show's displays and features will include an Etsy marketplace, a One of a Kind Craft Community of Canada platform, a garden party, an art competition with a 'Water' theme, an Expressions Lounge, a hall of fame, a cafe, late night shopping and more.
How much is it?
Tickets can be purchased easily online. The cost is $12.00 for adult admission, $10.00 per person for groups of 20 and up and $10.00 for seniors and students. Children 12 and under are free. $100.00, $50.00 and $25.00 gift certificates, as well as $2.00 shopping bags, are also available.
