Victoria Day Weekend is Almost Here...Here's What To Do in Toronto


Last week, we discussed 5 of the city's hottest upcoming music festivals...and now we're back with 5 more! From the newest and most popular acts to urban artists, country superstars and more, there's something for every Toronto music lover. Read to find out which event you need to buy tickets for.



Happening at Downsview Park from August 1st to 2nd, VELD is an electronic festival worth fawning over. Presented by Ink Entertainment, Live Nation and Deadmau5, who is also a title performer, Hardwell and many more will also be performing.


OVO Fest 

Another festival being held at the beginning of August, the 6th Annual OVO Fest will be running from August 1st to 3rd at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. Taking place during Caribana weekend, OVO Fest will see acts like Drake, Big Sean, J. Cole and more getting their fans hyped up. Special guests are still to be announced.


Boots & Heart 

Boots & Hearts, the city's most loved country music festival, is hitting Burl's Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Mendonte from August 6th to 9th. Hosting Brad Paisley, Justin Moore, Little Big Town, Florida Georgia Line and many more, it is guaranteed to be great for getting outdoors and getting back to your roots.


Mad Decent Block Party 

The Mad Decent Block Party in Toronto is mad decent! It is being held at Fort York Garrison Commons on August 29th. Acts include Major Lazer, Thugli, XXYYXX and more. 


Toronto Urban Roots Festival 

The Toronto Urban Roots Festival, or TURF, is being held from September 16th to 21st at Fort York Garrison Common. Featuring popular artists like the Avett Brothers, Wilco, Lord Huron, Of Monsters and Men and many more, this event is a great way to end the summer on a high note.
